What Clients, Partners and Associates Have To Say About Robert

Recently, Paul Smith, a Vancouver-based writer, interviewed a dozen individuals who have close business ties to Robert. Each interview was about a half-hour in duration. Here are the highlights of what they had to say.

“When it comes to building a team to handle a project, Robert is like a symphony conductor. He starts with a plan – a musical score – then recruits the best players. The best players want to work with the best conductors. In business, as in music, the most rewarding part of the task for the best players is an outstanding performance, a brilliant outcome.”

“In a meeting, Robert has the ability to give all of the participants his undivided attention, to be an astute listener. You can see he’s not only hearing the words – he’s analyzing the deeper meaning behind the words so that he’s able to respond in a meaningful and beneficial way.”

“Robert spends a lot of his time working with family businesses. He believes that a family that is open to new ideas and is willing to learn is capable of solving any problem. Robert has the ability to establish trust, the element essential to all businesses, including family-based ones.”

“Robert makes doing business fun. Relaxed. Rewarding. With some humor thrown in. Humor within an organization enables innovation. Humor often reveals the authentic person behind the professional mask.”

“He’s an extraordinary facilitator. He has the ability to stimulate the interaction and free-sharing of thoughts and ideas. In Robert’s world, there’s no one great idea that’s etched in stone. He’s constantly pushing to make even a great idea better.”

“He’s able to reshape a company’s leadership style and help build a more engaged and competitive culture too. He’s also committed to identifying new-business development techniques and technologies. Robert will tell you that the ability of an organization to generate new business makes all things possible.”
